◉ My smartphone takes such great photos, can't I just use that?
You can, and smartphones are capable of taking fabulous photos, but I'm not giving away any trade secrets by saying that it's the lighting that makes great photos, not the camera. Lighting in most practices is not conducive to high-quality photos, and tends to lead to blurry photos or images with strange colour casts. I use studio quality lighting on every shoot.
◉ Can't I use stock images?
